The Navy and other federal agencies will continue to provide help to victims of the Sept. 16 shooting at Washington Navy Yard, D.C. The Special Psychiatric Rapid Intervention Teams (SPRINT) that initially stepped in returned to their home base at Portsmouth, Va., Oct. 3. The Federal Occupations Health and Employee Assistance Program and the Emergency Family Assistance Center at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, D.C., have stepped in to continue the support mission.
