New Dental Plan Takes Effect

Active-duty service members who do not live near military dental clinics now have a new avenue of treatment available. Beginning Aug. 1, TRICARE launched the Active Duty Dental Program for those service members who receive referrals to civilian network dental providers. The service is open to service members enrolled in TRICARE Prime Remote, who live or are stationed more than 50 miles away from military dental facilities. No enrollment is required.
