NKO Opens to Navy Families

Navy spouses and families can now use a Navy Knowledge Online (NKO) Web portal similar to those used by Sailors for sharing information and resources. Through the new Family Community of Practice (FCOP), family members will find information on everything from education to child care to housing. They can start and follow discussion threads and chat directly with members of their community, deployed family members or anyone with an NKO account. To get to the FCOP, sign in to NKO and click the “public communities and learning centers” link on the left of the home page. Then type “family” into the search box marked “find a community page” and click enter. Next, click on the “Family Support” add link. This will add Family Support to your communities, and will appear each time you log in to NKO. To register with NKO and visit the FCOP, go to https://www.nko.navy.mil.
