The Navy will speed up delivery of the new Navy Working Uniform (NWU) beginning Nov. 16, thanks to a sufficiently large inventory. On that date, sailors stationed in the southwest and northwest U.S. will find the new uniforms in their Navy Exchanges. Stores in the national capital region and Hawaii will find them beginning Nov. 30, while Europe, Japan, and Guam will get them beginning March 15. The mandatory wear date is Dec. 31, 2010. More information is available in NAVADMIN 328/09, on the Navy Personnel Center Web site at www.npc.navy.mil/NR/.
