Payment Info Available for Former Service Members, Employees

Former service members and Defense Department employees now can gain online access to their debt account information. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) unveiled its new Out-of-Service Debt Payment Status Tool, which will provide users with account balances, payment information, and account status. Users can gain access to the tool through the agency’s Web site at www.dfas.mil, by entering their account number.
