Two Oklahoma Air National Guard pilots are safe after their F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft collided in midair Oct. 20. One of the planes crashed in a Kansas field, the Associated Press reported. The other returned to its base. The pilot of the crashed plane was taken to the military hospital at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., where he is expected to recover fully. The accident is under investigation.
