Ranger Commander Reprimanded

Col. Christopher Vanek, the commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment, has been formally reprimanded, Army Times reported in June 4 issues. According to the report, the Army cited no details substantiating the action taken against Vanek. Rather, an Army Special Operations Command spokesman said, the decision was made after an informal investigation unveiled “matters concerning command climate, perception and judgment.”
