Maj. Gen. Michael A. Keltz was relieved of command of the 19th Air Force because of offensive remarks he made during an Article 15 non-judicial punishment hearing. The Air Force declined to say specifically what Keltz said during the April 9 hearing, Stars and Stripes reported in May 1 issues. But subsequent reports by Air Force Times and the blog Johnqpublic.com said Keltz described the accused person as “drunker than 10,000 Indians” during the hearing. Keltz served 34 years.
