President Obama has nominated Navy Vice Adm. Michael S. Rogers to serve as the next chief of the National Security Agency. If confirmed, Rogers also will become commander of U.S. Cyber Command and the Central Security Service, the Defense Department announced Jan. 30. Rogers currently serves as commander of U.S. Fleet Cyber Command and the U.S. 10th Fleet. The Senate must approve Rogers’ nomination must be approved before he can assume his new post.
