The Navy Personnel Command has finished its study of projected rotation dates for active-duty sailors, in the aftermath of recently revised Sea Shore Flow career paths. The adjustments were aimed at improving career-path predictability for sailors, and resulted in increased sea time for 36 ratings. Sailors in another 18 ratings saw them reclassified as sea-intensive. Sailors can check their projected rotation dates online by logging into the Career Management System/Interactive Detailing site at https://www.cmsid.nav.mil. NPC advises all sailors to check and confirm their projected rotation dates, which they can use to negotiate permanent changes of station.
