The Navy is naming its next Zumwalt-class destroyer after Lyndon B. Johnson, the 31st president of the United States. The USS Lyndon B. Johnson (DDG 1000) is under construction at General Dynamics-Bath Iron Works, Maine, and is expected to be delivered to the Navy in 2018. President Johnson served in the Navy during World War II.
