The Army is sending 16 soldiers to the Olympic Games in Beijing, where they will serve as competitors, coaches, or trainers. Among them are Maj. Michael Anti (50-meter prone rifle), Staff Sgt. Dremiel Byers (264.5-pound Greco-Roman wrestling), Sgt. 1st Class Jason Parker (10-meter air rifle, 50-meter three-position rifle), West Point Cadet Stephen Scherer (10-meter air rifle), Staff Sgt. Keith Sanderson (25-meter rapid-fire pistol), Pfc. Vincent Hancock (skeet shooting), Spc. Walton Glenn Eller III and Spc. Jeffrey Holguin (double trap), and retired Sgt. 1st Class Bret Erickson (trap shooting).
