Sub Group Disestablished

Submarine Group 2 was disestablished during an Aug. 22 ceremony on the Virginia-class submarine Missouri at Naval Submarine Base New London, Conn., after 49 years of service. The group’s 45 military and civilian workers have been reassigned. The group’s three squadron commanders now will report to Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic at Norfolk Naval Station, Va.
