Islamic State terrorists are claiming they now have weapons and other supplies that U.S. aircraft dropped with the intent of resupplying the Kurds who are fighting them. U.S. experts and the White House alike, however, are denying the veracity of the IS claim. The Daily Beast reported Oct. 21 that IS media posted a video on YouTube, showing crates of U.S.-made war-fighting supplies. The White House quickly stated that the supplies that were airdropped indeed had reached Kurdish fighters as intended. One think-tank expert also questioned the IS claims, saying the weapons in the video did not look like those that U.S. forces would package for an airdrop.
