TRICARE Premium Hike Announced

Premiums for participants of TRICARE Young Adult Prime and Standard are rising. The program provides health care for service members’ enrolled beneficiaries who are between ages 23 and 26. On Jan. 1, TRICARE Young Adult Prime premiums will increase to $306 per month and TRICARE Young Adult Standards will rise to a monthly fee of $228. The agency suggested that those seeking lower premiums might find them through enrollment at places of civilian employment or in colleges and universities in which they are enrolled.
