Overseas beneficiaries of TRICARE, the health-care plan for military members, retirees, and their families, should update their Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) records, the agency says. TRICARE plans to mail out new information regarding coverage under the TRICARE Overseas Program soon. As such, members especially need to ensure that the agency has a correct mailing address. Persons can update DEERS information at any facility that issues military identification cards, online at www.dmdc.osd.mil/appl/address/index.jsp, by phone at (800) 538-9552 or TTY/TDD (866) 363-2883, by fax at (831) 655-8317, or by mail, care of DMDC Support Office, 400 Gigling Road, Seaside, Calif. 93955-6771.
