Troops Arrive in Poland

Roughly 2,500 soldiers and 2,000 vehicles arrived in Zagan, Poland, to bolster efforts to deter potential aggression by Russia in Eastern Europe. The troops are attached to the Fort Carson, Colo.-based 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. They represent the first of a series of rotations to the region, with the mission of training and conducting exercises with ally nations.
