The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command is urging all service members to let them know how well or poorly the people charged with moving their personal and household belongings did their job. With only 20 percent of all potential respondents taking the time to fill out post-move surveys, the SDDC is launching a new Defense Personal Property Program, which includes a new survey that will form a more solid cornerstone of the evaluation process. Officials will compile the results of each short, 12-question survey to rate moving companies, and drop those with unsatisfactory results while increasing use of those who perform well.
