TSP Becomes Available for Reserve Component

Following an Oct. 1 upgrade of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) pay system, reservists and National Guard members began exercising their option to participate in the Roth Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). The changes DFAS made will allow reserve-component participants to make contribution elections that accurately meet their needs through the online MyPay system, the agency stated Oct. 22.
