Sixteen Army units – six National Guard and 10 Reserve – are being mobilized in support of Operation United Assistance, the relief effort for the area of West Africa stricken by the Ebola virus epidemic. The troops will support the interagency team headed by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The units are:
