Service members and veterans everywhere will soon be able to apply online for benefits offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Camp Shelby, Miss.-based 1st Army and VA have teamed up to offer an online version of the application, VA Form 1010EZ, to soldiers stationed at the post. The agency intends to make the online application available to service members at all stateside demobilization sites by early this spring. Online applications should greatly reduce paperwork, and trim the process – which now takes about 10 days – down to three days.
