The carrier Enterprise pulled into Norfolk Naval Station, Va., on Nov. 4, ending a 51-year career of active service. Enterprise spent her last seven-and-a-half-month deployment providing maritime and theater security in the Mediterranean and Arabian seas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Enterprise will be inactivated during an official ceremony next month.
