Federal Manager's Daily Report

Just before Dominguez’s departure, EEOC announced plans to hire 70 new staff for front line field office positions in its Office of General Counsel and Office of Field Programs.

The agency said the additional employees would supplement about 180 other field positions.

“I have been committed to placing our resources where they are most needed,” said Dominguez.

“That has been a central factor in the creation of a National Contact Center, the recent repositioning of our field organization, our buy-out and early-out retirement programs, and our plans to streamline our headquarters operations,” she said.

She also said of the planned hiring that, “there’s more where that came from.”
