Federal Manager's Daily Report

The EEOC will host a webinar March 31 starting at noon Eastern time on EEO considerations for returning employees who have been working remotely to their regular worksites.

The transition “will require employers to consider many factors as the workplace is likely changed forever with respect to the pandemic, focus on racial equity and multiple considerations,” the agency said, including whether on-site attendance is an essential job function, hate crimes and discrimination against Asian-Americans, maintaining a safe workplace, and more.

One session will focus specifically on issues related to the impact of the pandemic on working women, including strategies and best practices for retaining women in the workforce at levels of the organization.

The webinar has been approved for HR certification purposes including federal EEO investigator refresher credits, the EEOC said. Learn more and register at https://bit.ly/EEOCSeminar.
