Federal Manager's Daily Report

The Defense Department’s standards of conduct office has updated its "Encyclopedia of Ethical Failure," a compendium of violations by federal personnel, not just DoD employees. The listing serves as an instruction and a warning to both managers and employees regarding ethics policies, noting penalties ranging up to prison time for some of the violations.

The encyclopedia is organized by type of violations, such as conflicts of interest, misuse of government equipment, violations of post-employment restrictions, and travel. It is an excellent resource document for training and briefing of personnel. It’s available at: http://www.dod.mil/dodgc/defense_ethics/index.html
