The General Services Administration’s Office of Technology Strategy
and the CIO Council’s IT workforce committee will host a forum
titled “Designing for IT Survivability” March 14 at the GSA
headquarters auditorium in Washington, D.C.
An expert panel will discuss strategic aspects of applying identity
credentialing (Real ID Act and FIPS 201), open architecture and
key emergency support functions, according to the Council. Topics
will include their approach to the interoperability and
integration of IT systems and networks, day to day operations
of data interactions, meta data fusion and other key issues of
continuity of operations. This forum is free and is designed both
for COOP personnel and anyone working on IT projects. To register,
