Robert I. (Ric) Cusick, a Kentucky lawyer with long experience
in legal and public officer ethics, has been nominated as
director of the Office of Government Ethics. Cusick is a 1968
graduate of the Brandeis School of Law of the University of
Louisville, served on active duty as a Navy JAG officer and
retired as a Captain in the reserve in 1998. He is a fellow
of the American Bar Foundation and the Kentucky Bar Foundation
and is a member of the American Bar Association Center for
Professional Responsibility.
