OMB has promoted its associate administrator for e-gov and IT, Timothy Young, to serve as the new deputy administrator of e-gov and IT.
According to OMB, Young has led in planning and implementing e-gov priorities for four years.
"Tim’s promotion merits additional responsibilities as he will oversee capital planning, enterprise architecture and IT policy," said Karen Evans, administrator of e-gov and IT.
"He will continue to ensure that government is meeting the goals of the President’s Management Agenda by delivering value and results to citizens while saving taxpayer dollars," she added.
Young has also served as the portfolio manager for internal efficiency and effectiveness at OMB. Prior to that he was a senior consultant with BearingPoint’s federal services consulting practice — formerly KPMG Consulting.
