The National Treasury Employees Union is appealing a Federal Labor
Relations Authority decision that the Office of the Comptroller of the
Currency does not have to bargain with the NTEU over location-based
pay adjustments for relocated employees, the employee union has said.
It said it represents 2,000 OCC employees in total and that it had tried to
get OCC to continue paying the same location-based pay adjustments to
employees that had relocated to areas there the adjustments were lesser for
a period of three years. After OCC said no, NTEU went to the FLRA,
which handles federal labor-management issues.
