My spouse has a claim for med disability retirement. We are both active fed employees. I’ve had the FEHB plan Self+Family including her for 15+ years. She believes we need to switch this to her name when disability starts to ensure it continues if/when I separate. I want to keep it under my name to maintain premium conversion. Will keeping it in my name pose any problems? Can’t we switch later? Blocked by moderator
