COLA Set at 0.3 Percent

Military retirees, disabled veterans, Social Security recipients and other federal annuitants will receive a 0.3-percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) beginning Jan. 1. The increase is based on the Consumer Price Index, a measurement of the increase in the cost of consumer goods during the past year, as determined by the Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.
