Report: U.S. IDs SpecOps Positions to Russia

The U.S. has quietly let Russia know where American special-operations forces are in Syria, the government-controlled Russia Today news agency reported Feb. 20. The report quoted Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook as telling reporters that the exchange of information is intended to protect special operators’ safety and prevent inadvertent attacks.
