Some sailors who began recruit training between Oct. 1, 2007, and Sept. 30, 2008, could receive a one-time clothing replacement allowance (CRA) of $368.19, while other sailors who entered recruit training between Oct. 1, 2008, and April 26, 2009, could receive a CRA of $524.35. The affected sailors are due the allowance because they either did not receive the required amount of Navy Working Uniforms (NWUs), or annual allowances to cover their costs.
