DHS has committed to using GSA’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) and OASIS Small Business contracts for the procurement of professional services including those with significant IT components.
DHS is adopting OASIS as part of its strategic sourcing program and will be using it department-wide.
According to GSA, OASIS and OASIS Small Business will help DHS reduce costs associated with contract administration, reduce the time it takes to acquire professional services, gain insight into professional services spending by labor types and costs, improve and expedite the proposal review process with easier price comparisons, and eliminate the need for Task-Order Contracting Officers to evaluate proposals from poor performers.
