The Defense Information Systems Agency has announced it configured milCloud for the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network – SIPRNet.
DISA said that DoD mission partners could now order milCloud classified and unclassified services through the Cloud Services Marketplace at https://milcloud.mil.
milCloud is an iInfrastructure as a service solution that leverages a combination of mature commercial and government-developed technology with a focus on agile development, deployment and maintenance of secure DoD applications, according to DISA.
It said that milCloud capabilities include giving mission partners direct access to a web-based self-service control panel to manage the configuration of assets (e.g., processor, storage, network), as well as a tool to streamline and automate the management of functions related to the build, test, and migration of environment configurations in a virtual data center environment.
