GSA has awarded a contract under schedule 70 to DataPoint Solutions for its Microsoft SharePoint and business automation solutions.
Under the contract DataPoint Solutions (a division of DataBank) can provide a wide range of professional services and products to agencies, including itsNintex workflow product for the SharePoint environment for business automation.
The company argues that government users in particular are increasingly porting sensitive and highly regulated data into the SharePoint environment without a full understanding or control over security implications and it said its products can help manage these considerations.
"With our focus in the federal government market and having access to the GSA Schedule 70 reduces the procurement challenges our government clients face, and gives them the ability to resolve critical SharePoint challenges and inefficiencies quickly and economically," said Bob Dickerson, SharePoint practice manager.
