GSA has issued an official notice to proceed for its One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contract, and said that both OASIS and OASIS Small Business set-aside contracts are ready for business and that customers can now start using them to acquire complex professional services, including services with an IT support component.

OASIS has been delayed due to bid protests, but both the Court of Federal Claims and GAO denied the protests, paving the way for GSA to proceed.

So far, the Air Force (last December) said it would use OASIS and OASIS SB for purchasing systems engineering services, research and development services, and other complex professional services instead of creating three of its own multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
