GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service and the Defense Health Agency have begun a seven-year partnership for health IT services and solutions with an estimated spend of $5.4 billion.

GSA announced that DHA will direct new health IT procurements to GSA IT contracts, including IT Schedule 70 and the Alliant, Alliant SB, 8(a) STARS II, and VETS Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs).

DHA will use these vehicles as the primary means of procuring supplies and services to support their existing and emerging Health IT requirements, according to GSA.

It said DHA has also partnered with FAS to strategically use One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) for professional services requirements.
