GSA has published a post on its blog promoting its Enterprise Acquisition Solution integrated (EASi) and the Assisted Services Information SysTem (ASSIST) program for IT acquisition.
It said EASi would make federal IT acquisition easier by allowing customers to choose standardized solicitation and award packages, and get assistance with funding certification. (EASi also will interface with the mandatory Integrated Award Environment’s System for Award Management.)
The new application leverages the larger GSA IT application environment including the Regulation Management Service – a new feature of the Solicitation Writing System (SWS) and the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS), according to GSA.
It said that internally, those services are supported through a consolidated service oriented architecture platform – eSOA.
