HP Enterprise Services has announced a secure private cloud solution for the government market. It’s Helion Managed Private Cloud for Public Sector “can provision and administer infrastructure, provide infrastructure security and deliver Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based service management,” according to a company press release.
It says the platform provides a dedicated private cloud allowing agencies to implement a shared services model, something the White House is increasingly pushing. It is also designed to “address the unique certification and regulatory compliance needs of the federal government, including the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMPSM) moderate impact level, FISMA high, HIPAA and the Defense Information System Agency Enterprise Cloud Service Broker (DISA ECSB) impact Level-5,” HP said.
