A Nigerian man has pled guilty to taking part in a scheme in which he helped steal email credentials from EPA employees in order to place orders for computer toner cartridges and about $1 million in other goods and sell them on the black market, the FBI has announced.

It said the scheme involved phishing EPA employees to get them to visit a fraudulent website resembling a US government website where they provided their email usernames and passwords. The conspirators then impersonated EPA employees to place orders for office products that were shipped to an address in New Jersey, then forwarded overseas.
