DigitalGov.gov has made available a recap of a recent webinar on integrating social image and video into DigitalGov Search (used by over 1,500 government sites for search).

The webinar is posted on Youtube and covers search and how search analytics can help social media manager better understand user needs.

To use DigitalGov search on a site, you need to set up an admin account with your .gov or .mil email address, then customize your search results page (including whether to display image and video results from Flickr, Instagram and Youtube) and incorporate search into a site with a few lines of embed code. DigitalGov says it will provide results from all your public-facing web pages on any domains.

You can also choose to display news results from Twitter, jobs results from USAJobsor NeoGov, notices and rules from the Federal Register, and health topics fromMedlinePlus.
