Divorced spouse filed a QDRO (in 1999) for %50 of my annuity accrued as of divorce date. OPM sent me a letter stating that she would get %50 at my retirement (although it did not say “pro-ratia” which was bothersome). Will the deduction happen automatically or does my ex-spouse have to make some kind of application to OPM to start it? What is ex-spouses responsibility here? Thx !! Blocked by moderator

Does former divorced spouse need to apply to OPM upon my retirement @ 62 to start their benefits?
